About the conferenceThe conference of the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders brings clinicians and researchers together to update each other on the latest local and international developments in the field.
The conference includes keynote addresses from Dr Susie Orbach, London psychotherapist and writer about how we as individuals and as a society view the body; and Professor Joe Proietto, University of Melbourne researcher into physiological mechanisms associated with weight & weight loss. The conference will also include presentations by researchers & clinicians, plenary sessions, a choice of 11 afternoon workshop options, poster presentations and opportunities for networking - including a conference breakfast and cocktail party. Pre-conference workshops will be conducted by Susie Orbach ("How do we get a body"), Dr Jennifer Gaudiani (Medical Management) & Caroline Costin ("What do you do when..") from the USA.
